Let Your Personality Shine Through
Decorations and flowers are a great way to express your personality. Whether you are boho chic or like a little sparkle, the best weddings always reflect the couples characters and individuality. Don’t let anyone reign you in, this is your day enjoy it and style it to suit your taste!
There are some great decorations companies out there that can help you visualise and achieve your dream day. You can either choose from a standard decorations package or arrange bespoke items.

When planning decorations for your wedding abroad, the first thing you need to do is get as many photos of the venues as possible. It is impossible to plan your theme or colour unless you have seen all the areas and layout of your venue.
Ask your wedding planner or even the hotel for pictures, videos and table layouts. They won’t mind, they have all of this information available and ready to send out to you, but you have to ask 🙂
Read your wedding package information, find out what is already included decoration wise before you start making plans. There’s no point in ordering chair sashes if they are already provided. Ask questions. Ask for descriptions, dimensions and what materials are used at the venue.
Once you have done your research then you can start to plan within your budget 🙂
Start with a colour or a theme and work from there. There are so many amazing ideas for weddings, and ideas can be found on Pinterest, Instagram or Google Images. Make a file on your Ipad or laptop and keep all your ideas in one place, your design will grow from there.

Chair sashes and table runners are a personal choice, they were very popular over the last few years, but décor has evolved a lot recently and we are seeing more styles with bare tables and chairs and ornate centrepieces.
Centerpieces really are the staple in your design. They will create the overall atmosphere and look of your wedding. If you are on a budget a good idea is to choose centrepieces that can be used to dress the aisle at the ceremony and then be placed on the tables at dinner.
Table plans are a must, it make people feel more comfortable when they know where to sit and you don’t get any squabbles over who sits next to whom. It used to be that table plans were a big flat white piece of card with names on, but now there is so much choice. You can choose mirrors, birdcages, suitcases, trees, vinyl records and so much more.

There are so many other items you can put your stamp on; hanging decorations, large standing items, lights, candy tables, drinks tables, chairs, napkins, placecards and table numbers.
Let your imagination go wild!!!
